Day Two:
I felt so much better, and had a ton more energy; especially for someone who woke up at 6 in the morning on a Saturday... Yikes. I wasn't as hungry as day one either, and didn't have any real cravings.
But, I did cheat... A little bit, I had a cookie.
Do you know how hard it is to bake cookies and cupcakes when you're on a juice cleanse?
HARD.
Day Three:
I cheated again, I ate breakfast.
BUT. I had a shake for lunch, and cucumbers for dinner. So I hope that makes up for it... it probably doesn't, but at least I tried.
All in all, it was an interesting experience.
I do see the benefits of doing the cleanse, it really cleared my system out. But I was always uncomfortable. Never really starving, but uncomfortable.
I'd probably do this again, but not anytime soon. Although, I do plan on replacing a meal with a juice/smoothie everyday.
The recipes I tried were surprisingly good. I want to find more and broaden my horizons.
I'd be interested to know what recipes you tried! You're amazing for doing this...I don't know if i could go that hardcore and just do a juice cleanse.
